Form of Government

The form of government that the Town of Burlington has is a Board of Selectmen with a First Selectman, and Town Meeting. The town also has a Board of Finance. Local elections are held every two years, in odd-numbered years on the first Tuesday of November. The annual town meeting is held on the fourth Monday of January. The annual budget meeting is held on the first Tuesday of June.
