Booths start to appear on Berg Field late in July.   A couple of Hartland Lion’s Club members unloading “ready to be cooked” fried dough.

 
As many are expected to watch the 9:30 PM fire works, a State Policeman is available to control traffic.   Music is provided by Turkey Foot something or other.

As setup is nearing completion, it’s time for a quick break for a cool drink.   East Hartland Fire Chief Norm, supervises the final prep of the food booth.

 
Several people purchase raffle tickets for an Acoustic Guitar, Laptop Computer, and 3 other prizes.   The West Hartland Fire Department operates a dunking booth.

Two of the carnival rides provide fun for children.   Hartland Elementary School 8th graders earn money for their class by selling Baked Potatoes.

 
Anyone interested in Hartland history can purchase mementos from the Historical Society.
It is announced that Mike Bennett has been chosen as the Honorary Grand Marshal for Saturday’s parade.

Finally at 9:35 PM, the start of a great 20 minutes of spectacular fire works brings cheers from the waiting Friday night crowd.

 
The Warehouse Point Fife and Drum Corps warms up on First Church's lawn prior to Saturday’s parade.   There’s nothing like a few horses to start things off.

It only does parades these days, but our 1934 American LaFrance still runs great.
One of the town’s many civic groups, is pleased to add their support to this 60th Anniversary.
