On June 11, 2006, members had an opportunity to visit the Van & Caroline Evans home on Granville Rd. The house was formerly owned by the Gould Family.
Numerous original brick fireplaces are found throughout the home. Reading and study areas also provide a comfortable setting.
Paintings and antique furniture further add to the charm of this old dwelling.

A recently attached sunroom, a front hall staircase with landings, and a chimney constructed to vent at the peak of the roof are typical of old New England homes.
A canopy bed with a quilt rack at the foot, lends charm to a guest bedroom. A “writing area” is thru an archway from the master bedroom.
